Alice Decker

Alice graduated from University of ?Al. I. Cuza? in Rumania with degree in physical chemistry. She exchanged the physics with computer science after she relocated to Germany. As MCSD (Microsoft Certificated Solution Developer) certificated she worked as software developer. She developed in C++ and other object oriented languages for insurance and logistic software providers.

Alice joined Trend Micro in 2001 as Virus Analyst working in second level of antivirus support. During this time she extended her domain of activity to application of computer forensics, malware behavior research and co-relation of core technologies in developing of customized security solutions. Since 2007 Alice is active for the CTO office as Senior Researcher with R&D contribution in internal AV operations. Since January 2008 Alice actively participates and engages in AMTSO.

 

 

Mario Vuksan

Mario Vuksan is independent security researcher.  He was the Director of Research at Bit9, a leading provider of application and device control solutions, where he has founded and built the world's largest collection of actionable intelligence about software, the Bit9 Knowledgebase or the Global Software Registry. He represented Bit9 at industry events and worked on company?s next generation of products and technologies.  Before Bit9, Vuksan was Program Manager and Consulting Engineer at Groove Networks (acquired by Microsoft), working on Web based solutions, P2P management, and integration servers.  Before Groove Networks, Vuksan developed one of the first Web 2.0 applications at 1414c, a spin-off from PictureTel.   He holds a BA from Swarthmore College and an MA from Boston University.  In the last couple of years, he spoke at CEIC, Black Hat, RSA, Defcon, Caro Workshop, Virus Bulletin, TechnoSecurity and AVAR Conferences.  He is author of numerous blogs on security and has most recently authored "Protection in Untrusted Environments" chapter for the "Virtualization for Security" book.
