Welcome to our regular roundup of events and activities in and around AMTSO.
Meetings and Events
We’re only a week away from our Cyber Research Conference in Lisbon! We’ve released a detailed agenda (pending the final few last-minute adjustments), with full details of the great range of speakers and topics on the main event page. Registration remains open but will close in the next few days – if you plan to come but haven’t yet signed up, please do so ASAP!
AMTSO was present at the annual VB Conference in Berlin two weeks ago, it was great to catch up with many members past and present, and to connect with many potential members and others interested in our projects. Next month there will be another Testing Town Hall online event.
Working Groups
Our various Working Groups have been continuing their projects while planning their sessions at the Lisbon event. The RTTL Threat Intel Sharing team held their regular call this week, reviewing the latest batch of improvements to the system and the status of the feeds; there will be an in-depth discussion on threat intel and the RTTL in the main track at the Lisbon event.
Our Sandbox team held a call this week, with several new evaluations being planned by working group members; the group will share updates and future plans, and contribute to the Threat Intel discussion, in Lisbon.
The Scam & Phishing group (previously known as the VPN group and the Real-world group) will also meet up in the side track to review their progress and plan their next steps with added input from attendees not currently part of the growing group, which will hold a regular call this week to wrap up plans.

Board and Management
Most of our Board and Executive Team will gather in Lisbon to finalize preparations for the conference and carry out regular Board duties, as well as discussing future plans. We continue our search for a new Chief Marketing Officer, members who may be interested in taking on the role, or who may have colleagues who would llike to help promote our organization, are requested to get in touch.
Membership
We look forward to on-boarding several likely new members following in-person discussions during the VB conference in Berlin. Anyone interested in becoming an AMTSO member and contributing their insights to our various projects can find more information on our joining page.
