- AMTSO Multiscanner Engine Quality Certification
AMTSO’s Multiscanner Engine Quality Certification scheme provides an independent quality certification for security engines used in multi-scanner platforms. The purpose of the certification is to provide operators of multi-scanning platforms with trusted, independent assurance of engine quality.
To be certified under the scheme, a specific product/configuration is tested for detection and false positive rates, stability/throughput, and file type coverage. Certification lasts one year from completion of the initial test, with additional unannounced audit test runs performed twice during the certified period.
Most AMTSO tester members are able to carry out the necessary testing on behalf of vendors requiring certification – you can find details of all our tester members on our tester member page.
Vendors wanting to be put in contact with test labs providing certification should submit a request to meqc@amtso.org.
